Ramadan Concludes

POSTED DIRECTLY FROM OPEN DOOR MINISTRIES EMAIL:

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for your faithful prayers during Ramadan. As the month progressed, we saw daily reports in the news of worldwide violence and turmoil. In Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, terrorist bombs exploded killing hundreds of innocent people. In Libya and Syria, rebel forces continued to fight oppressive governments.
As troubling as these events are – unseen by the human eye – the Holy Spirit was at work in the lives of Christians. Also during this time, the Holy Spirit moved in the hearts of many Muslim people allowing God to draw them to Himself.
And, now is the time to continue praying!

In less than two weeks, our nation will remember “9/11.” As America suffered on that day, Christians were reminded of who the true enemy is. Our enemy, and that of the Muslim people, is Satan. And so we must pray for our Muslim neighbors and seek to love them into the light of Christ.
From now until Sunday November 13, you can continue to unite in prayer. International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP), resources are available for free on the Open Doors website.
Let’s Stand “One With Them” in prayer!
